"Screech Screech" di pencil soun',

As 'e dey draw, thru di night dark shroud,

Im plans: to take one leaf from Virgil's ancient page,

To hold di pen of Robert Frost, William Blake, John Keats' poetic stage,

Im age bring am many discouragement,

Fuel im inner rage,

Defeatism dey loom, im greatest enemy to gather.

But 'e still dey write, im determination no dey tie,

Refusin' to yield, im spirit no dey break, im heart no dey tie.

Left to am alone,

All dese be im stepping stones,

Im ultimate stepping stones to triumph.
